A Year In The Life Of A Working Class Dog unravels the gripping tale behind the classic album that put Rick on the map--1981's Working Class Dog.

Beautifully designed by Kym DeGenaro and packed with a dazzling array of color and black and white photos plus vintage memorabilia, the book, written by Ken Sharp, is packed with anecdotes from the people who were in the trenches and made it all happen in the first place. You'll hear from Rick Springfield, his studio band including drummer Jack White and Mike Baird, guitarist Neil Giraldo, and keyboardist Gabriel Katona, his WCD touring band, members of his 80's touring outfit (Tim Pierce, Brett Tuggle, and Mike Seifert), producers Bill Drescher and Keith Olsen, key RCA Records personnel, radio veterans, music celebs like Eric Carmen, Bob Seger and Sammy Hagar and much more.

For the inside story behind WCD, this book is a fan's dream come true and the only officially sanctioned Rick Springfield book on the market.
